Is the OnePlus Nord 2 the best mid-ranger in 2021? Or are there better phones for the money?

They did cost cutting on the display this time and the software isn't pure Oxygen OS, it's now a skin on top of Oppo's ColorOS 11 . But for the price its acceptable .

For the first time I can see OnePlus phone removing the dark spots in the pictures. That has held me back from buying their phones for long now, leaving the dark spots in the photos

I liked the phone so much and I want to buy it but the only problem is the mediatek processor which I don’t trust and like because it is used in cheap phones, I think it won’t be durable in long run, could you please advise me what to do.
