I was born and raised in this neighborhood for 47 years now....and anyone from it knows and have lived with this could have been imagine there is plenty of drywall and water damage work to be done...

This has happened since we moved to Tampa Bay in 1977. The running joke used to be "free carpet" as post-flooding people would rip out the carpet and put it on the driveway. This is and always has been a low-lying area very close to the bay and very prone to the impact of the east side of a hurricane. I feel sorry for anybody that moved in without knowing the risks.

The 1st thing I would ask before moving anywhere in Florida is what happens when it rains in this area. Does it flood?

Looks like more stilt homes are going to be built in Shore Acres, its a beautiful place to live. But you get more than 8 inches of rain and it floods.
