This was literally my brain on animation. It made me dream awake, made me remember my deepest memories, memories I thought I had forgotten. This is like a an 90 minutes drug. Paprika indeed came first before Inception. While Inception may have begun in 1999/2002 whatever, Paprika came first as a 1993 book, and Satoshi Kon was going to make a film of it around/before Inception was starting up, but the film that distributed his first movie went bankrupt, and Kon decided to do another mvoie with a diffrent disturbitor.

Wow, i see a lot of fanboys fight here and there..
The glass scene in Inception is clearly a tribute to Paprika just like the bathtub scene in Requiem for a Dream to Perfect Blue. Nolan and Aronofsky still gives a respect to Kon. So what's the problem here?
Paprika > Inception though.

i just watched this movie after stumbling across some youtube footage and.... it is without a doubt in my top movies of all time lists. completely unforgettable, and a MUST SEE!
