I graduated in 1971. So I was there for the whole Watergate debacle. History repeats it's self in cycles. When Nixon was under investigation by a special prosecutor for Watergate. Every day the news was always saturated on.every major television network all the public radio stations with every new little detail that could be dug up. The coverage was unrelenting. At times I would think to myself will this ever end. I was not mature enough at that time to realize I was seeing real history being made. The wheels of justice move ever so slow but they grind ever so fine. They finally had so much evidence on Nixon. Resignation was going to be Nixon best option.
