Agree that if you're gonna use someone else to manage your $ you need to make sure they know what they're doing and not just making sales.

The other thing to think about is that person if on a % basis makes that 3 or 4% whether or not the investments they have you in make money.

who still use financial advisor probably in 1980 there are no internet now a day people using investing apps are free in investing.
just pick index funds ETF like vanguard buy hold and that's it simple and easy.
