Greg so happy for your family. This is really the heart of this story. So many families being destroyed.

Congratulations to Greg for providing a way for his wife and mother in-law to reunite. I can't even imagine the terror they both went through. Prayers for the Ukrainian people.

I was in tears when they united. You can hear the fear and concern in your wife’s voice. So glad she made it out safely.

As a descendant of a Russian immigrant, and I just lost my own mother, I felt a welling of emotion.

Glad Greg's mother in law made it out safe, that's a great thing to see how happy she was. I pray for everyone else's safety in all of this, caught up in the worst of it just being in the wrong place. There shouldn't be a need for any of this. War is only good for the ones that create them, the people don't deserve it.

When I heard about the invasion my first thought was how heartbreaking it was for the elderly who went through this before and have to suffer in their twilight years.

The clip with the woman who initially chuckled at the "What did you leave behind" question before breaking down hurt and made me realize: she most likely HAD to leave everything behind. One cannot truly imagine the feeling of fleeing a country with nothing but the clothes (and possibly a couple pocketable necessities) on them until it happens to them... Stay strong, Ukrainians <3

Edit: after watching the entire video, the woman may have left her husband behind?! Ugh that would be too much for me to leave my spouse behind. The heartbreak of it all...

Years ago a family friend of ours sent their daughter over to Ukraine to see her grandparents. During the summer that the daughter was overseas, policies had changed. The daughter, would was 12 at the time, was stuck in Ukraine. Bill O'Reilly helped us get her back. He rented us a limo and everything for the trip to the airport to pick her up. I still have pictures. It was all over the news back in 2002.

You can’t save the world, but you can try to save your loved ones. I’m happy Gutfeld was able to save his mother-in-law from the devastation of war.
