I think their friendship would have lasted if they did better with communicating. This is why Jake was happier with the club. Because the club, especially Hailey actually listened to him (before the audio, because they stopped hearing him out when it was released) Drew and the others didn’t really give Jake a chance to explain his passion for singing. They only belittled him for being in the club. These are just my thoughts though.
