Be careful. If you curl your lashes too much, it can break the roots and your lashes can fall out or get thinned out.

You can get a similar effect by just heating the curler first. Obviously not like crazy hot, just warm. It works super well

I don’t think people know how to curl their lashes properly. You’re supposed to start at the base, curl, go up a bit, curl, and then go up and curl whatever is left. It literally makes your lashes stick straight up lmao

You can literally get the same result buy curling right at the root and slightly tilting the curler upwards. Also I wait for my mascara to fully dry and then I curl again, not clamping down all the way but just lightly and doing the same tilt technique. Works like a charm. No air in your eye

Try just vaseline and then curling your lashes it protects them and it makes them longer xx

I actually do this cause my eyelashes bother me when they’re touching my skin they naturally curl up and I always thought people with straight lashes looked extremely pretty, we always want what we don’t have.

...Why do some woman use their mascara like that? It's so clumpy.. It would look nicer if you slowly wipe the mascara stick along the side walls of the tube to remove the excess mascara. It prevents fallout and makes your lashes appear less clumpy and more natural.

I do mine right side up, root first, then center, then lightly on the tips. Perfect every time!

The better hack is to curl it from the top to the root. Not just the root, not starting at the root. Curl from the end of the lashes, then move down towards the root, curling all the way. Your lash will stay curled the whole day

You can use a corner lash or spot lash curler to do the “upside down” part. Still awkward but a little easier. I’ve had to do this with false eyelashes that are too curly. Curlier isn’t always better with lashes!

Heat lash curler with hair dryer and it’ll stay all day apply mascara to end of lashes for natural look doesn’t even need to be at the root, mascara wetness can reverse the curl but just recurl once the mascara dries on lashes, make sure to clean lash curler as mascara and stick to it and lashes can get stuck on it and pull out, clean it off and it won’t happen, never lost any lashes doing this 👏

Im sorry, older woman here. I stopped using waterproof mascara ages ago. It is too hard to remove and pulls your lashes out. And stop using an eyelash curler because it broke. One thing women should know about eyelash curlers is never ever use them with mascara on. You only use them when your eyelashes are clean. And be careful, change the sponges out often. Sometimes make up gets left behind those little bits of mascara. You think you’ve got off using your waterproof mascara. And when you curl them on dirty sponges, it pulls them out.
Just a little advice from a girl who watched her Momma curl her lashes from 70’s- 80’s. And those lashes are now sparse!
