What has aid or development achieved? How will the new 'Global Goals for Sustainable Development' agreed at the United Nations in September 2015 make a difference? Does 'development' have a future at all?

This video introduced these questions at "Good, Bad, Sustainable?", a Restless Development debate chaired by the BBC's Mark Mardell, and featuring Arifa Nasim (UK youth delegate to that UN Summit), Professor Henrietta Moore (presenter of 'The End of Development'), Lord Jack McConnell (former first minister of Scotland and involved in the creation of the SDGs), and Myles Wickstead (author of 'Aid & Development: a brief introduction).
