In Session: Washington state legislative session ends Sunday

The Washington State Legislature is scheduled to wrap up business Sunday as the legislative session comes to an end with some bills making it and some not, but the only requirement for legislators is to pass a two-year budget.

So we'll go from 700k single family homes to multiple 1.2 million dollar luxury condos.... affordable housing indeed. California passed a similar bill and housing there is even more unaffordable. It is nothing but a gift to developers and cities that will now tax displace families to build luxury sixplexes and then close schools due to low enrollment. Another loss for housing one can actually afford.

Hearing aid insurance coverage was definitely a wholesome win, but honestly the gun ban is foolish. Criminals will illegally purchase weapons if they have to so banning certain guns will only exacerbate organized crime (especially illegal arms dealing). And at the end of the day it's the mental health of the shooter that drives them to do what they do and there are effective ways to prevent people from going postal like that.
