Fats Waller this is what reminds me of me Dad . Born Bradford Manchester 1920's, Left school at 14 got an apprenticeship with Metrovicks Trafford Park . Bought a clarinet with his first wage check and his old man made him take it back to the shop and sell it back cos he was first child in the family that needed to bring a wage into the family. !972 he bought me, his daughter a clarinet been playing ever since. Am 61 now. So am sitting down and writing me letter to me Dad and putting a lot of kisses on the bottom, with love from me to you
