Elden Ring Testing- Inescapable Frenzy (Madness PvP Build) *patched*

Someone was kind enough to test out Inescapable Frenzy, this will do more damage/and or build up with the Frenzied flame seal (quest item)
🔴The damage has been patched, it was takeing damage from you main weapon which was instant K.O.ing people🔴

We have tested this in our friend group. The damage it does is the FIRST hit of your right handed weapon's crit atack. If you use a weapon that has a multi hit crit animation with the first hit doing low damage the spell with do little to no damage. A shield in your right hand makes the spell do 0 damage. It aplies all on hits as well. A level 1 katana with frost will proc bleed and frost.

I actually landed this in a legit invasion. Baited a running attack with a heal and did that, killed them instantly.

I hit a few people with the move so far and what I noticed was I think the grab scales with the weapon you’re holding.

(edit) this cant be used as a finisher due to the animation not being able to latch on while the the madness animation is going. Best alternative is to use Howl of Shabriri as a Fancy finisher.

I will tell this is literally the Ghost Rider Penance stare but instead of making you feel unending suffering it's showing you the truth of the world and is subsequently driving you completely

Thanks for this. Absolutely dove for Frenzy builds as soon as I started the game. Kinda bummed by the so/so PVE usefulness of them, but for PVP they're hilarious. Vyke's Spear is pretty awesome.

so far my best luck in landing this thing has been to first use frenzy flame since the animation is similar, then in a good spot drinking the WP with poise buff and using this one in melee range, enemies have tried to rush and stab me out of it thinking it was another frenzy flame which then so far has 100% lead to a successful grab and that also means instakill since this bonker spell does over 3k when used on npc invaders
