Anti-static - Ceramic tiles don’t produce static electricity when they are walked over, so you won’t get that unpleasant jolt on the end of your fingers when you touch metal.
Fire Retardant - A dropped cigarette might cause damage to some flooring types, but with ceramic tiles, you won’t have that problem. It won’t leave a trace that anything happened.
Hygienic and Easy to Maintain - All types of ceramic tile, regardless of finish, are extremely dense and nonporous, which means that microorganisms have little or no chance of surviving when cleaned, which can be done easily using a wipe with an antibacterial cleaner. It’s why hospitals are largely tiled.
Durable - To say that ceramic tiles are hard wearing is doing them a disservice, as when they are well-laid and maintained, they can look amazing for many years. You will not typically find this type of tile suffering from ‘wear and tear’.
