Why are they warning people not to feed wild birds chicken feed, sounds like it may be in the feed to destroy another food source.

This is awful, I miss our neighborhood birds, they are getting fewer an fewer . I remember saying morning birds shut up, NOW, I cry feeling such a loss . That old saying comes to mind you never know what a value you HAD until it is gone, I miss the singing in the morning, the little sparrows eating the bread crumb we would throw out for them, the hopping around, no Robin's no baby birds hatching from the nest so precious , no geese flying south then returning, no nasty sea gulls I once thought, now, i look for them and see nothing or MAYBE one or two no flocks . We humans have destroyed everything we touch, I'm beginning to think the plant would be better off without us around 😭 ☠

Good reporting. So sad for all the poultry that has been 'culled', and Michigan is on a major bird Flyway so guess there may be more flu there. A Freind & I rescue songbirds that hit the glass skyscrapers in Newark NJ, Most that hit the skyscrapers perish on impact, or when fall to the cement pavement. TRT made a video named 'Window Strikes in the Business District' of us picking up injured Warblers. The Raptor Trust(TRT) nurses them back to health, They knew about this in Europe since last year, would think we would know a antidote

No you know what if have the opportunity I feed all time the birds on all the world.i just think about it when someone doesn't have food you feel bad something the bird the animals too .I love to do something good for the world.
