Hand Lapping the Blade and Spring of a Folding Knife to Final Thickness

My process of setting the final thickness of the folder’s blade and back spring. I hand lap on a granite surface plate using 320 grit sandpaper.

Should be the other way around traditionally. This way the blade will have side movement.
