This is the "Lesson Only" version of my English lesson about colleges and universities. It does not contain the viewer questions that I answered during the lesson, they have been edited out. It is great for those of you learning English that like to re-watch the lesson or to use in an English classroom.

I hope you enjoy learning a few more English words and phrases about college and university!

In Switzerland, university fees are very cheap because a large portion of expenses is paid by the state (the books are not included). We don't have dormitories and you have to find a normal flat in town with other students which is more expensive. A needy student can get a loan from the state. The biggest difference for an Italian mother tongue student (like I was) is that he has to study in another language, because universities are located in the french or german part of Switzerland. At the end you'll become bilingual which is a great opportunity! Thank you for the lesson!
