Turbo Charged 1986 Yamaha Virago XV1100

Just a project I made in my garage. Added a 44mm Mikuni.
Do not add a VM44. They do not have any en-richening circuit and do not perform at all.

2 questions:
- did you put one turbo for the two carbs, or you convert your bike do singlecarb?
- did you change the fuel pump?
(i have a 535 model and i have this doubt)

I'm getting my parts list together to do this to my 85 xv1000
Turbo and oil lines cooler sorted
I need to sort my piping
But only problem I have
Is finding the correct single carburetor
Can you let me know what you used for carb and jets

But the single will be more than enough of a power increase

Hey I kind of want to do this to my 920, I can turbo a car all day, but Im not sure about a carbed bike. you wanna throw some advise this way?

hey, ya got a real carb on it.... good luck with the 2-1. out in the real world they scream on the top, run okish at the bottom and stink at just holding a steady speed (no matter what needle/needle jet you try). sounds good unloaded though

What a terrible sounding bike. Love the turbo, but please put a muffler on that thing. It just sounds like there is a hole in the exhaust. Not a tuned sound at all . Just loud blare. You have put so much work into this project, why cap it off with a no effort straight pipe??? Doesn't make sence. It looks like you are cheaping out at the end.
