All My German Experiences! | CBYX, DAAD, Study Abroad for FREE

I wanted to make a summary video of all my experiences in Germany because the CBYX application is still open until December 8th, 2023! I feel so fortunate and lucky to have spent so much time living in Germany, and I want other people to know about these opportunities as well because there are so many ways to study abroad for FREE! Both CBYX and DAAD provide hundreds of scholarships each year for people to learn German, and both of these programs have changed my life. If you have any questions about either please let me know :)

Who am I?
My name is Montana Showalter, and I was a participant in the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange program in 2019-2020. I started my Youtube channel while living in Germany and continue to make videos on German vs American culture. I love finding aspects of German culture in the US as well as producing videos in German as practice! In the future, I hope to live abroad again :)

I was an exchange student from Germany to the USA in 71/72. I went from 10th grade at the Gymnasium to Senior in the USA and than to 12th grade at the Gymnasium, so I did not loose any time (did take a hit on my grades though) and finished Abitur with my old classmates (13th grade)
The most important thing in this year was the experience I gained, living in a different family with different habits in a different country with different habits speaking a different language certainly helps to grow up.
If you ever have a chance like that, use it!

I like your passion very much. No "paid advertising partnership" but real enthusiasm! - Mach so weiter Montana! 🙂

"aber in German it is..." - language mixing like this is what comes out if you study language intensively. It sounds funny, but indicates strong progress since it refers to thinking in the other idiom :)
