Ontario Regiment Museum - Aquino Tank Day - Overview

On the 19th of May, 1944, tanks of the Ontario Regiment suffered heavy losses while attacking German defenders in the town of Aquino during the breakthrough of the Hitler Line in Italy. The Ontario Regiment Museum located in Oshawa Ontario hosted an event of remembrance involving displays of numerous military vehicles. A series of short reenactments ensued allowing spectators to witness some of the sights and sounds of these war machines.
