As an Italian fan, Binotto really shouldn't be where he is right now, he's just gonna make us go lower and lower on the grid :(

He is.
He basically staged a coup to push Arrivabene out, even threatening to join Merc at the end of the 18 season. All that at a time when Marchionne's passing had thrown the team out of balance. Should have stuck to engineering mate

My thoughts was they should never have dropped Arrivebene, he put up two title challenging runs in 2017 and 2018, they both just started to fall apart post Summer Break, but with two younger talents post 2020, that can be more consistent than Vettel in 2018, 19 and outright pace of Kimi in his late career. I feel bringing back someone like Arrivebene, who had a much better title run than Binotto, back could be good for Ferrari.

Remember when their engine was insanely powerful and they were getting pole after pole until Verstappen called them out and then they had no pace and they got investigated by the FIA and then they refused to disclose the deal made between them and Ferrari and then they qualified 7th and 11th with no speed on the straights and it’s quite blatant that their engine was illegal?

There's too much on Mr. Binotto's plate. He can't do two heavy tasks on his own. Delegate! Or step down from the TP role. But who would become the new TP? Vasseur? Steiner? Bernie would put Flavio in there instantly. It's a question with not necessarily a straightforward answer.
