The man I was with from 26 til now I'm 44, he absolutely loved this song when I sent it to him. He died recently in a freak motorcycle accident, it kills me to hear this song now, but at the same time it reminds me of the love that we had. Thank you so much Illennium for bringing us together and keeping us together even though he has passed. Your music means so much to so many people in so many ways. And the fact that you and I connect in our history and have triumphed, , makes it even more close. Thank you so much for being the person you are. I started drugs 3 months after I graduated high school in 2002 and stayed high, in & out of jail for almost 10yrs before I finally came home begging for help. This song came out the same year I got clean.(Nov 7, 2011) . I lost my high school sweetheart due to my poor choices of choosing addiction over him.
I finally have the blue-collar career, little kid and a small town story at 40yrs old. This song hits very close to my heart and I thank God every single day I only lost the things I did bc it could've been so much worse. I hate Casey Beathard went through hell with his son Tucker but I'm thankful him and Eric produced this song.❤
