Lyrics:
Dodging fire, though your innocent
Lunging forward crouched in pain
Leaving shelter, use your inner sense
While you get soaked in the rain

They don't even seem to notice you
As you scream with all your lungs
They can't hear if they wanted to
Now your journey has begun

I will lead you home
I will lead you home
I will lead you home
I will lead you home

Mangled body from a car wreck
I sing life into your soul
Tangled in some kind of fight, heck,
Why you bother anymore?

Trapped repeating in a time loop
Break the silence with my voice
Zapped with love you fin'lly regroup
Now it's time you made a choice

Where the sun is shining
Where the moon is rising
You see the horizon

Now let me guide you
Through the winding tunnel
Across the great divide

Together we'll enter
the glowing sparkled
place that you'll reside

I've always found Lee's music thoughtful and provocative in a deeply stirring manner. Like all emerging artists-and a fair share of the current and past crop-ego rules. So, I've clapped and cheered, and winced a time or two. Here, though, the good doctor checks his ego at the door in favor of allowing this song to sing itself. The lyrics immediately unfold to instrumentals favorable to memorability and sing-ability. There's a lot here (and more elsewhere) once the music meets the song. -Gregor
