Louisville, Kentucky-- The Louisville Fire Department's arson team is looking into fires at two vacant structures.

The fire department says around 4:52 a.m. Saturday, crews were dispatched to a structure fire in the 2100 block of Rowan Street. Fire crews arrived on the scene to find heavy fire coming from a two-story camelback, with fire extending to another two-story camelback located closely to the east. Both structures were vacant. An occupied dwelling was located close to the west of the main fire building.

LFD says, firefighters quickly made entry into the building and conducted search and rescue operations. They then initiated an interior fire attack on both buildings. It took less than 20 minutes for 28 firefighters to bring the fire under control, the fire department said.

According to the fire department, the two vacant structures sustained significant damage. The adjacent structure to the west was not damaged. No civilians or firefighters were injured during the incident. The LFD says their Arson Investigators are working to determine the cause.
