Look at my dude Chum. I remember he wasn't allowed to buy a candy bar without rick or the old man's permission and now he was about to spend 60k for a video game. My man came up.

I find it interesting that the folks trying to do a deal for a game worth tens of thousands of dollars aren't sure about the name of the first boxer in the game. That sort of sums up the whole graded collecting scene right there.

And to think how many of us had these games pass through our hands back in the day.

"Let me call Rebecca".

"But it's not a book."

"Yeah... I'm still gonna call Rebecca."

Fun fact, one of the buyers that pumped up the price of these games was the owner of heritage auctions. Heritage owner was the owner of the grading company that caused the coin bubble of the 1980s. Heritage and Wada are both connected before Wada was created. It’s a scam to push up prices and make their games they purchased before Wada launched for 1000 times profits.

Cant believe that a 500 years old Sword go for only 10k and a video game from 1987 for 70k+ 🤯

This one hasn’t aged well. WATA was falsely inflating the market.

$60k would have been accepted...Rick would have offered 10$ a three legged cow and some magical jumping beans just for taking all the risk and getting it framed 🥴

I actually think 60 was a very reasonable offer for once.

Graded by WATA... isn't that company a bit under fire for allegations of artificially inflating prices?

Wow that guy lost a lot of weight. In old episodes he was a bit chunky guy. Good for him he got healthy!

Rick: It says 34.97. Tell you what, I’ll give you 2.99 and not a penny more. I gotta make money here
