I lived here as a kid in the 80s and 90s and its insane how many hotels have sprung up. Back then there was one Holiday Inn, a Motel 6 or Super 8 or something, and The Dunes (now the Holiday Inn Express in this video) lol

This review really needs more details, for example, does the hotel have a full service restaurant? Does the restaurant have a view of the water or not (as with the Margaritaville)? Also, as of this date (May 2022) a new hotel is under construction next door (to the east) of the H.I. Resort, so noise MAY be an issue. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort in late 2021 and were pleased although there was an obvious labor shortage, but the staff did the best they could under circumstances.
