💚 Shrek 5

On April 4, 2023, news surfaced that Dreamworks had begun actively working on the development of Shrek 5. Technically, the project had been in development since 2017, but progress came to an abrupt halt with the onset of the pandemic, which rocked both the industry and the world at large.

Shrek 5 is poised to delve deeper into the married life of Shrek and Fiona, along with the adventures of their fantastical companions from the storybook world. It's highly probable that a traditional fairytale villain will also make an appearance in the storyline.

Our speculation leans towards the possibility of an antagonist such as an Evil Queen or Wicked Stepmother, though the unexpected inclusion of characters like the Ugly Duckling could add an interesting twist to the narrative.
