A poetic exploration of succumbing to the idea of loneliness as the most enduring relationship there is. 'You’re the hope. You’re what is left, when all has emptied and has fled.' At first listen a sullen song of simmering desire. It tells of all the roads taken towards love that have been met with loneliness as the lasting embrace. It is a song of mourning, of bitter sweet remembrance. For all its vulnerability there is a robust cheek and strut within the lyrics and delivery, a song of the hope and of lessons are hard won, but one where love prevails, even if the final acceptance is with and from loneliness itself.

This fragile moment we captured shows Beth singing in a cracked whisper, growling and then unleashing her voice beautifully. She has this rare ability of drawing from her vulnerability a rough emotional power that feels like a generous embrace. 'Lonely likes my company', well we have to admit we do to. Make sure to catch Beth on her US tour starting March 7!
