Listening to smooth jazz got me through a bad time in my life. Was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2019 and while getting chemo infusions, I listened to a lot of smooth jazz artists. Among my favorites are Boney James, Paul Hardcastle and Brian Culbertson.

My Wife once asked me "If you were Stranded on a Desert Island for a Year and you could only hear one Genre of Music for that Year - What would you listen to"? My Answer was a very quick and unequivocal "Smooth Jazz". My Family all stood staring at me as if I was Nuts, but they never experienced Music as I did - Growing up in the 80's - Late Nights - City Lights - Quiet City Streets - and Music like this Building your Soul - and making your Life so much better.

I moved to Chicago from NY in the 80’s and WNUA with Pat Prescott (RIP) did a smooth jazz show like an angel fro heaven! First piece I ever heard was M.W.A and I was hooked forever. Nothing beats this and I’m 82!
