Raistlin’s Tea
“Par Salian gave the recipe to him after… after the
Test, when he was so sick… it smells awful and must
taste worse… but it will help him.”

This tea works as an expectorant and soothes
coughs and bronchial trouble. A warming tea, it
Raises the body temperature as well.

¼ ounce dried lemon peel
½ ounce mullein
½ ounce angelica
¼ ounce dried orange peel
½ ounce burdock
½ ounce coltsfoot

Place the above herbs in a jar; shake until well
Mixed. Put 2 teaspoons of mix in mug, and add
Boiling water. Let steep for 10 minutes before
drinking.

It's always been a wonder to me how Raistlin's brew would've truly tasted. In the books, it was always depicted as more of an acrid smell and a more rough taste to it. I dunno, it's little things like that which made it interesting for me! :)

Ive made this is is fantastic if you have a cold. Its very earthy taste and not recommended for pregnant women. I love that you are exploring even the fun source books.

i have used a version of this myself as a restorative, the mix is very good for any breathing issue. In Chinese medicine the herbs are linked to improving the flow of life force through the body. Great video.

I actually make the exact same mixture but I add willow bark to it. It works wonderfully for the common cold and the flu, and the taste is way better with honey

I always thought the tea had marjoram in it. What was the marjoram reference in the chronicles?

You could have used a coffee filter to separate the tea from the solid ingredients.

I got a big bag of mullein from a hippy family member. I love unusual teas but honestly it smelled like the rodent section of a pet store
