Google Drive on the web and for mobile has been updated to make it faster and easier to use. In these updated apps, you have more ways to access important file details, see recent activity, and share your files.

I love the updated one. I like the old one too. I thought the old one was good, but the new one was even better. But what I love is that they give you a choice. If you don't like the new drive, then you can go into settings where it says, "leave the new drive" that will take you back to the old version of the Google drive.

My school switched from flash drives to Google Drive last year, and we have really enjoyed it. No more forgetting your flash drive at home, just sign in to your Google account!

I'm liking the changes so far, though I would like to be able to set people to only comment on folders full of items, or rather the items within the folders, without having to go into each folder and subfolder to do it manually.

New web and mobile interface of the new #GoogleDrive is nice and intuitive, but still has the same old problem.
Google Drive STILL cannot manage properly the same filename files. It's been more than two (2) years now! I guess they never heard of the options to overwrite/replace or append a number to same filename and filetype files. :(
I hope they deal with this problem soon since the interaction of this update is more PC like (double clicks and drag and drop).
Just keep up the good work guys.

EXCITEMENT! I'm so glad Google are adding more computer commands into Drive. It makes life so much easier! Loving the easier Drag and Drop feature. I will continue to wait in anticipation for them to make the tables in documents more user friendly.

I've tried it, very nice new interface!
My 1st use of Google Drive dates back to 2011, now I got used to it, fond of it.
Very nice of Google to release docs, sheets apps for iPad: simple, lightweight, synced!

The design and thinking behind the new Google Drive is excellent.  However, with cloud computing designed this way where is security and privacy?  No guarantees that I see.

pleeeease create a "tag cloud" of some type.  some of us who've been with Docs since your Writely days have been collecting 8+ years of docs with 2 or 3 implementations of labels/folders.  while I like the changes, my folder view is so overwhelming i had to resort to using a personal Google Apps instance to reboot my Drive from scratch.  With a personal Drive & 5 Google Apps instances, it can be a bit mind-numbing at times and *very* grateful for multiple users in Chrome.  I look forward to seeing some kind of universal context-aware search able to operate over multiple orgs!  i know u can do it Google! :)

That's great and all but.. Can we have the in built ability to have more than one Google account's set of folders offline on our computers? Right now you have to use dodgy workarounds to access 2 sets of folders for 2 different accounts which isn't good for business users who want a work and personal account on their PCs or macs.
