Honestly I own a non reversed a gene Simmons and a les paul bass and each one sounds different.
All with stock gibson electronics.

The newer thunderbird is a little brighter, I like it. You got a killer dark rosewood fret board on it too! I almost bought one of these but found a 79’ rickenbacker 4001 for a great price instead.

Tough choice between 2 or 3, 1 actually lacked bass somehow.

First one was the most even across the range of the notes. The middle one was punchier in the middle range and the last one was kind of brighter and "twangier"

The first one is why you use one of these things at all. The others get into territory where a different bass might have made more sense.
