We'll be married 41 years this September. We've been thru every situation you described from not safe resulting in not a home. We worked through it all. And we are thankful. I wake up every day and try to be friendly and positive. By the time my first sentence is out I know I had better not open my mouth anymore that day. He love’s me in texts or post’s. He love’s me, despite how challenging I am, to all our friends and family. Some day’s he won’t see or speak to me until late evening and then he will walk out of the room, shut the door before my first sentence is finished. My vows are the reason I am here after 12 years of this. I gave my word of honor and I won’t break it. I just thank god every day that I wake up in this beautiful creation and get to be a part of it. I’m thankful for the roof over me and for the chance to improve my situation. And I am thankful for these message boards, because often they are the only human interactions I get. I don’t want perfect, I would be happy with a little respect. Until then, I will keep trying.

I have been married for 36 years and we are having a lot of problems now.. I have tried everything to come together and fix these issues but I have learned something it takes both husband and wife to make the changes and that's where things come to a screeching halt. It's only me that has come to the table and wants to fix things because all I ever hear from her is do you always have to talk about it Everytime we have problems.. well not Everytime not even sometimes it's never with her because she thinks forgetting it and moving on is the easiest answer for the problems we are having but not for me. I need to talk about what is going on and find the answer and then we can fix it. But it's turned into a nightmare because it's still only me trying to fix everything. So the next step is I am going to be forced to leave and it's a very hard thing to do when you love someone as much as we do. Husbands and wife's don't let things go if something is bothering one of you then go to your spouse and tell them you need to talk it's the only way because without communication in your marriage it's just a matter of time before it fails.. Home and heaven is where we all want to live, so memory and experience of walking towards God should be a joyful time! ...I am human and don't have memories of love and blessed, God knows the truth, but I pray none will experience what I have, I pray all who seek a life of obedience will feel safe! People don't hate their parents but if something happened it's I feel normal to keep distance to heal something. Some men in life know no bounds and take more than their wife after a divorce. They take the ex mother. So she finds out and it's devestating. Why is one blamed others escape the wrong. I don't know
