If the employer has all 5 star reviews, that's a MASSIVE RED FLAG. Learned the hard way

Corporations need to be held accountable.

That was literally the whole point of Glassdoor, to leave anonymous reviews! Never using them again! Sucks for job seekers who will have to find another way to filter out low quality or fake employers. 😢

Glassdoor has had problems for quite awhile. I had a horrible employer I used to work for. Many former employees were leaving honest but terrible ratings. The HR department from that company was going on their creating fake positive reviews. Glassdoor got infiltrated a long time ago

Employers taking on employees in one of the few available areas where we still have some freedom. The great resignation made employers mad and now they want to crush all hope for employees. Shut up come to work do your job and don't ever raise ur head 😢

I already deleted my Glassdoor account. The original purpose was in the name -- TRANSPARENCY! You can't host an honest discussion about company culture and benefits without protecting users from abuse. The companies that want to sue the most will have the most to hide. I never said anything untrue, never disrespected any individual or divulged company secrets on this site, but would nonetheless expect to be blacklisted by most potential employers for daring to give anything other than a glowing review. This, unfortunately, is part of an ongoing trend of companies wanting to use coercion and wealth to force employee obedience rather than doing the hard work of addressing systemic issues. It is also a security risk, since Glassdoor would also be required to maintain a collection of sensitive personal information for its user-base. And we all see how that's worked out in recent history.

Glassdoor just ruined itself. Companies treat people like trash and you are not supposed to say anything.

Well, Glassdoor is useless for reviews now. I can't trust the reviews anymore

Bye bye Glassdoor. Some other company will replace them.

Glassdoor might as well just go out of business. That was the whole idea of Glassdoor!

I predict new sites will pop up to take their place. One of the benefits of Glassdoor is being able to see interview questions asked.

So glassdoor is irrelevant now? Good to know. Will stay away

Oh I gotta give my name? I'll make a fake name. But I'm also not sure if I will trust the reviews.

Never trust a 3rd party. Just move on.

No one in their right mind is going to leave a negative review of an employer on there. Even if Glassdoor genuinely wanted to protect the privacy of the people leaving reviews their database would be far too juicy for hackers to resist. Someone is going to break in, steal the identity data and then blackmail Glassdoor users for fun or profit.

My one and only customer service job ended up silencing me. I got automatically put into a lawsuit and then found out later the money I got from the company as a result of it had a do not disclose term or whatever. I now can't publicly smack talk them or feel safe telling others publicly tell people what they did. Anonymity is important. I won't use, or let my friends use glassdoor from here on out.
