Just so you know, the Bluetooth dongle also functions as a Bluetooth dongle for PC. If you plug it in through the USB connection on Pc, then sync up the GameCube controller to it, your PC will detect the controller as an Xbox controller and you will have access to both rumble and analog triggers. It’s not an advertised feature for some reasons but it works amazingly.

The fact that you can remap the buttons in the Switch menu makes me very happy, since the normal button layout doesn’t work well on most Switch games.

I've got four Wavebirds but have always wanted a versatile wireless GC that I can use on GC, Wii, WiiU, Switch, and PC. Plus built in rumble! This one seems to fit the bill!

a tip for soldering wire together: strip back to expose fresh copper or use steel wool to rough up, then dip the wires into flux (the best stuff is a paste in a small tub) then the tiniest amount of solder on the tip of the iron to each cable

I couldn't quite tell in the video but in Switch mode does any amount of depression of L and R register and input or do you have to press them down all the way to register an input? Wouldn't be ideal to have to press all the way down for Smash Ultimate shielding.

I like 8bitdo but their different methods of connecting to different devices is kinda crazy. You always need to have the instructions on hand

Have you tried the NGC kit with a BlueRetro GC adapter? I'm hoping the rumble will work because I already have one, they're cheap, and I don't want to have to buy yet another $25 adapter :P

the stick gates not being perfectly aligned is unfortunately a deal breaker for me, its so sad because everything else is so great. Hope they can fix it in software

I don't have any controllers worth sacrificing sadly so I wish they would just sell a completed controller.

Can't you like buy all the parts because people make custom shelves and custom buttons and I assume you'd be able to get the rubber pads somewhere. If you want rumble you can just grab any old rumble motor from any controller in just wire it up so even that is still easy to access.

It seems like you got a good modkit, in my case the R trigger is faulty because the sensitivity is not correct, and I'm not sure if there is a way to recalibrate the triggers, which means if I ever decide to play something like Super Mario Sunshine, I will have an awful time using Fludd especially on the Shadow Mario chase missions.
