Fascinating. One small correction -- Voyager 2 is not yet beyond the influence of the Sun. Yes it passed through the Kuiper Belt years ago but it's not yet passed through the Oort Cloud, which will take it 300 years to reach. But those are small details, it's still a very finely done story about an amazing accomplishment and it's useful to know what went wrong and that the craft will reset its antennae direction on October 15!
