John McCain Calls Protesters 'Low-Life Scum'

Republican Senator from Arizona John McCain didn’t take kindly to demonstrators interrupting the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing while former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was seated in front of the committee. Before the hearing began, a number of CodePink members approached Kissinger, holding up signs and chanting “Arrest Henry Kissinger for War Crimes.”

“I’ve been a member of this committee for many years, and I have never seen anything as disgraceful and outrageous and despicable as the last demonstration that just took place,” McCain said, before he was again interrupted by a lingering protester.

“You know, you’re going to have to shut up, or I’m going to have you arrested,” he said. “… Get out of here, you low-life scum.”

The hearing was the third in a series of hearings, in which McCain called upon luminaries from the foreign policy world to share their knowledge and experiences with lawmakers on how the U.S. should proceed in terms of foreign policy. However, the controversy surrounding Kissinger ended up becoming unavoidable, becoming a distraction McCain couldn't ignore. Complete Hearing Below:

I was thinking that maybe the Title of this could be:

"McCain calls Kettle, Black - and Admits That He, Himself is "Low Life Scum!"

I'll explain.

On the surface - it's 'Freudian.' It's 'a slip of the tongue' which reveals how he really feels about himself, just beneath the 'masque' - his projected 'image' - that he must maintain in public, to portray the 'character' that he wants us to believe that he is - rather than allowing everyone to see who he 'really' is - which only HE knows for sure. 

But, there are 'tells, ' if one knows what they're 'looking for.' Some say micro-expressions, or facial 'reading' and body 'language' - and/or added to the intuitive 'read.' But this isn't about a hunch or a feeling - this is about the actor and the character, regardless of the person he 'thinks' he's keeping contained way down inside of himself. That 'he' the 'mask' (the character) is in control - when the truth is, the demons he keeps down, are always lurking and waiting to be unleashed.

You see, I see what he doesn't want us to; that way deep down, he knows exactly 'who' and 'what' he REALLY is & it ain't what he portrays himself to be - & more than probably, just the opposite.

That's how self-serving, sociopaths & psychopaths operate - they 'act' - and it's to keep concealed that which he doesn't want revealed - that the 'character they portray' is exactly the opposite of what they really are.  Psychopaths are, for instance, completely unfamiliar with empathy, and why we hear so many politicians (feel they have to - because they know it's a lie) tell the unsuspecting, near-mindless masses that they 'care' about us - because the exact opposite is true - they absolutely, couldn't care less, or any less, than they already don't.

Because he represses 'Mr' Hyde' and keeps him 'hidden' deep down inside, with such effort, he is easily upset at challenges and gets angry at the flip of the switch (& he always appears to be an angry little hump of a man when he is portraying 'authority' and it, or his integrity - which he has none - is challenged), that whenever he encounters anything or anyone that angers the 'real' him - it instantly comes out & he 'projects' it onto others - in the subliminal 'hope' that we don't 'see' this projection as 'himself.'

This is because he, in that heated moment, and the rage rises to the surface (did you see him shaking? That's like a 'takeover' - a momentary lapse of the mask - and the fury of Mr. Hyde is unleashed, and all Dr. Jeckyl can do is stay out of the way & watch - knowing that 'he' is subservient to the 'real' character, who is hiding behind the masking and the image of the 'good doctor' - or in his case, 'the honorable & honest politician' - and nowadays, both of the aforementioned examples are both pure fictions.

"McCain?" Hmmm... what does that name 'mean?' Mac, from Marc...Cain, ? Does his name really mean, 'mark of Cain?'

Mr. 'Mark of Cain' 're-cognizes' what is really bothering him about HIMSELF, and how he defines that aspect of himself within, and then shouts it out & 'projects' his feelings for himself onto the target.

That is very 'Jungian, ' indeed. He's trying to conceal his 'shadow' self. And maybe, THAT is all he is - nothing more than a mere a shadow being - and who 'really' knows THAT for sure, BUT the 'real' him?

Although I do find his name very 'coincidental.' (And I don't believe in coincidences - because all is 'relative.')

In closing, (And I began this with an attempt at a one-liners, but got into this little self-righteous outburst by a historically-verifiable dis-honest politician, who really thinks he is better than everyone else - because he believes his own bullshit.

He must be a real mental/emotional mess just beneath the surface, if it comes out that readily, regardless of what he can compartmentalize and suppress, way deep down inside.

I discern a Soul-less shell, often covered in band-aids, to keep the open sores of cess and hatred that he is full of from spilling out all over the carpeting.

And no, this wasn't 'me' talking about 'me.' I don't project - "I am what I am, " as Popeye said, a life long student of the psychology of Human Beings. I'm not perfect, and finding more flaws along the way, but I'm no self-righteous, bully of a politician, who sits on a pile of cash because I sell out the American People everyday that I go out and 'portray' that I am working hard for THEM - when in reality, these self-serving politicians spend millions and millions to remain in those expensive surroundings, so that the wealth of all those 'ATM's (Americans The Moneymakers) is always available, to spend on the projects that their corporate sponsors pay them very will in 'donations' to assure will be funded.

Politics - what a ruse. It's populated with a bunch of sociopaths & phonies & psychopaths & actors. 

It's just that some of us have learned over the years how to see right through the facade, and observe what lies beneath the surface.

I'm no 'professional' (and why does that even carry any weight these days?) but I am an observer. 

And that was my 2 cents - and worth exactly what you 'paid' for it - absolutely nothing.

I don't care for Obama, but the more I get to know McCain, the more I'm glad he didn't win the 08 election.
