What if Mapping Videos were 'Realistic'?

Just a random skit video related to mapping videos.
For those who aren't aware of the post I made in the YouTube Community, I have exams and will not be free until December 18th.
Made this skit in less than 2 hours since it's an idea I had that I wanted to get out my head. This would be a good filler video before my exams.

The thing is with most mappers I see don't take into account geography and how they ignore defendable areas such as rivers and mountains can slow or halt an advancing force. So most of the time when they redraw borders they aren't on say rivers or any other easily defined land marks.

The thing is, There's no point in being a realistic mapper unless you are doing country vs country type videos. The entire series of mapping being realistic makes it boring, Barely no war, no antagonist, nothing.

The only thing mappers can do to be slightly realistic is adding sanctions, following geographic boundaries, current relations, etc.

If they want a realistic mapping series, just stay alive because real life is basically a mapping series thats ongoing and realistic.

You forgot that even if miraculously a war broke between two countries and one of them won, most of the time it doesn't lead to a systematic full annexation (like we can see in some mapping videos, even mine) of the other. IRL 90% of the time it will just be small pieces of land, or even nothing.

I'm trying to aim something like this in my future AFOW video (I'm dead serious, it's not even mapping but I want to have semi-realistic elements and artistic elements into it sometime in the mid-21st century and onwards)
