Hand-wired in the UK and limited to only 600 pieces, we pulled out a Super 100JH Jimi Hendrix Amplifier from the Marshall Museum. The amp was released in 2006 to celebrate the relationship between Jimi Hendrix and Marshall amps. 👌

This amplifier is from our archives and is now discontinued.

Phenomenal playing dude!! You know Jimi would have been sitting with a boon in hand watching going “that kid can play!!”.

Roger Meyer did hot rod several of Jimi's amps . They were not all stock .

Honestly as a tone-freak, this tone throughout the demonstration was a bit thin and biting for me to identify this as approaching Jimi’s tonal palette. Just my humble opinion but other heads have welcomed me in to a beautiful clean and complex distortion that was devoid of the somewhat intermittent “crackle” demonstrated here. I Love Marshall amps. I’ve owned several and have been in bands with great guitar tonality for decades yadda yadda.

I don’t understand why they didn’t use the Eric Collin’s pinstripe grill cloth on them. 😢

That sounded very harsh with all kinds of clicking and clacking

Great stuff from Marshall obviously....but absolutly no one buy those anymore....when will the heads at Marshall start designing product in line with the new reality of low wattage but top quality like the classic studio....no stage soundman will accept those kind of volume anymore...never mind the play at home guitar player...

I don't like the habit of miking only one speaker. This is not what you ear from a 4x12.

Cool amp but there are people who can play Hendrix way better than that. Thin tone, too much wah, no feedback or dynamics.

That was terribly clicky clacky cracky sounding. Even before t the wah I was cringing. I know it can sound that bad in person.

Amp sounds kinda crappy or maybe it’s the playing since all he did is throw some Wah pedal crap on it .., tone is too high, sounds thin, at least learn machine gun .. did I hear some crappy country licks at the beginning ..
