I have the ' regular ' gt350 and it's amazing! Bought it with 12k miles and now.. as my daily driver have over 71k miles on it.. no problems at all and so much fun every time I press start.. amazing American dream car for me!! 12/10 recommend!!!

The carbon fiber wheels sold separately are about $19, 000. The gt 350r is a bargain

I would take this over the GT500 any day! Since this is being discontinued, I hope there will be a proper successor to this beauty!

A coworker of mine has one of these and gave me a ride in it. This car is unbelievable, it takes corners and handles like it's on rails! It was almost like it can defeat the laws of physics in handling and braking!

He missed two differences from the normal gt350. The "R" has red badges and a resonator delete.

90 more horsepower than the GT. The 1974 Mustang had 88 horsepower total.

The difference between the 350 and the 350R is minimal. Most of the changes are in the wheels, the spoiler, and the 'deleted equipment'. From a performance point of view, that's it. And, if you want a quick and dirty way to identify the 350 from the 350R - the Shelby badges on the front and back are not silver/black, they're red.

(I know all this because I work at Flat Rock assembly... I drive a few of these every single day...)

Every time I watch a review about someone test driving the GT350 or R version, the reaction is the same. They cannot wipe the grin from their face. I have a 2016 GT350 and the feeling is always the same, I cannot believe that I own this amazing piece of machinery. It only looks like a Mustang and seriously, that's where it ends too. If you have this car on your radar, I highly recommend you getting one because it truly is that amazing.
