Quick ride on a all original 1987 Honda CR250 (thanks Nick!). This bike has been in Nick's family for more than 30 years! Still fun to ride the Honda CR250 that dominated the 1980's!

Sweet bike! My current track rider is an '88 CR250. That thing absolutely rips! Restoring an '87 CR500 at the moment. Love the '80's Honda 2 strokes!

There is just something you can't expain about riding/racing a vintage bike !!! Watching this reminds me of Wardy Glover Lechein Magoo Baily Breker etc - I remember the 1st pro national at Millville in 1983 where Magoo dominated the 500cc class ( he is my favorite rider and I was lucky enough to meet him ) I was amazed watching all these guys from the magazines etc - and the bikes, works kawasaki's were beautiful - Mickey Dymond on Husky, man what a time for MX - the sport we all love so much

when the 87 came out with rear disc and the rising seat, we felt the world had arrived... what more could we want?! this series engine had it all. low, mid, top - the tractor that could scream. you had to really mess up to not holeshot every time. no other brand was close at this point, but Kawi was next best.

My favorite motorcycle of all time. People do not realize just how revolutionary and groundbreaking the 86 and 87 Hondas were. They were so far ahead in performance to their competitors I don't know that we've ever seen a machine as dominant. They completely reset the the playing field and raised the bar. Arguably the greatest production motorcycle ever and I think we can say with a high degree of certainty the greatest off-road production motorcycle ever made
