Looking good Chris. Glad the tractor is working out well for you. Snow is right around the corner! -Scott

At 30 degrees you would make a 30 60 90 triangle, where if you draw two perpendicular lines from the furthest ends of the blade, where they would intersect is your 90 degree corner. In this triangle the hypotenuse is the blade length; divide that by two to get the side across from the 30 degree corner, which is the shortest leg of the triangle (your blades cutting path at 30 degrees).

It does great without chains. I thought it might spin more than that but that 4 wheel drive must be great

Is it worth it for clearing a little urban driveway? I use a Husqvarna ST330P for a 400' rural driveway. I didn't think I could justify switching to a lawn tractor and snow blower combo.

Make sure u are running at least 2400 RPM or u will damage the hydraulic pump. Thanks for keeping the snow in Minnesota, Where is the blade made? Thanks for sharing

Nice tractor, but you need a bigger driveway . Old saying, what's the difference between men and boys ? Is the price of their toys . Seriously I would love to have your little set up . Keep having fun .

Looks good Chris! You said you had a custom blade made? Are you talking about the cutting edge? I know that definitely isn’t stock, looks like rubber, maybe? Also, where did you buy your BX? We bought our B2301 last April at Olson Power and Equipment in North Branch, and our BX2230 (gone now) there in 2003. We’ve been customers for fifteen years. That’s really the only dealer I know of other than Lano that sells Kubota’s full range of equipment, but I’m always looking for new locations. We got about six inches up in Washington County. Had the plow put away and everything and had to dig myself out to get at it. Hopefully another video out on that soon. Gotta find a good editing software. Alright, I gotta get back to the grind. Be careful out on the roads, some are still pretty slick. Take care.

Are you in one of the cities proper, or a suburb?.My sister used to live in St. Paul, up above Pigs Eye Lake. Now she and my B.I.L live up in Brooklyn Park.

The problem with blades is, if you don't have a lot of room and lots of snow, you get to a point where you don't have any more space to put your snow whereas a blower throws it far away and doesn't seem to pile up much.

With time you will get better this video demonstrates perfectly how not to clear snow you broke in that power steering for sure

Cute tractor. When you going to graduate to green? Much better, easier to attach, attachments. Better quality.
