Lions didn’t pick up a running back. As brad Holmes said, “we picked up a weapon, not a running back. We are gonna to utilize him heavily outside of the backfield. As for defense, Jack Campbell and Bryan branch were outstanding picks. Yes we reached on Gibbs, but when your a team trying to make the playoffs, you grab immediate impact players, not someone like Jalen carter who we don’t know how ready they are.

I wouldn’t say taking Bijan is an L. Falcons said they won’t just utilize him as an RB, but around the rest of the field as well. Bijan will definitely be a top 5 RB in the next 5 years. Honestly a big W for the falcons.

An L for Swift? You were a bit early on that take! That was the best thing to ever happen to his career.

Bijan might be the best RB prospect in past 20 years other than saquan.

The lions had more pressing needs on the defensive side. I was facepalming hard when I saw them pick a running back.

The lions had a great draft and Gibbs would not be there at 18 so if he is your guy go get him. Also, brad holms said Jack Campbell was the best available for the lions and there team. Lastly, they had a amazing draft in the second day picking up people like Brian branch a top 15 talent in the 2nd and hendon hooker in the 3rd. So great draft!

RBs might breakdown sooner, but a top tier RB can elevate tour team for 3-5 years. They can hide an average QB by making the safeties play close to the line. When you have a stud at RB linebackers and nickel corners have to respect the play action.

Bijan is that dude - absolutely worth a top 10 pick in this draft. HUGE W for the Falcons. Get what is going to be one of the best backs in the league for 5 years of his prime on the cheap?! Double W

Lions got the best weapon in the draft. Gibbs was covetted by a lot of teams. Campbell is a freak. Beet LB in the draft.

picking a RB @ 8 is fine if he's the #1 RB prospect since LT. teams pick for strictly upside within top 10 so picking a sure lock for the next 7 years is smart to me. especially when youre tryna build around your young, inexperienced QB

Got the Malik Willis treatment and now plays with Malik Willis

Only reason this pick makes (more sense that it should) for the falcons is the fact that they are going to have a QB under center that will need a very capable, possible elite, RB to keep drives alive and progressing.

“after what they let the eagles do in the draft” tf were we supposed to do about it

Bijan is potentially a baby AP.. Every recent rb picked top 10 lived to expectations besides maybe Trent Richardson and Leonard Fournette.

NFC East for what they let the Eagles do? What choice did they have? Mazi will hopefully be a force, Commanders and Giants also got great pieces. Luv the content bro ❤ All love

Lions walk away with the most versatile weapon, arguably best safety, the guy they wanted at line backer a good backup qb for goof and addressed their needs at dt, gaurd, and wr. They get a solid B. Commanders had an underwhelming draft
