Idk how much it matters, but with the new updates to magic and creature weaknesses, Zulrah has a 50% increased weakness to fire damage. So fire spells do 50% more damage, making them about equivalent to a trident. (Depending on gear and the spell of course)

Try not to eat when attacking only eat when running in between phases, it makes it way easier.

You didn't say which one of his spells is range and which is mage and failed to mention you need 76 agility for the fairy ring.
