The extension is valuable because you don't have to stretch your arm out as much, which can be rather tiring if you hold it out for several minutes straight several times a day. One of the main issues with the ZV-1 was the rather tight field of view on the wide end, which many vloggers complain about since it puts too much emphasis on the face and not enough on the surroundings, which vloggers like to show off. Having the camera further back solves that problem but, like I mentioned earlier, can get rather tiring if you need to keep stretching your arm out to do that. The extension allows you to keep your closer to your body and reduce the stress on it.

Because of this video, I have bought the ULANZI RMT-01, but it seems that the ZV-1F won't recognize it. It doesn't see it when trying to pair. Anyone had this issue before?
