How I really didn’t see this coming! I had to choose between the GoPro or Sony zv1, had de GoPro but I needed something different, so I sold it. Bought the Sony zv1 couple months ago but since I live in Bolivia, I had to wait for someone to safely bring it to me. So I’m only getting it April 20! I’m so excited that you got it!!! This is a great review! Thank you! You covered a lot more and shined some light on the camera than what others were talking about it. I just dropped my GoPro hero 9 in a lake and lost it forever but this camera looks like a really great rebound!

Even two years ago you were making quality videos, nice! This seems like a decent camera, but I wouldn't necessarily say that it's a much better value than the A6600 - they're just in two different categories. I mean the A6600 is a mirrorless camera, which should give it a significant advantage, but not something you would buy as a secondary camera. They're just in different classes for different markets.

That being said, I'm curious if you've seen a Sony ZV-E10 in the wild. I'm not totally up to date with all of the latest cameras, and don't know all of the details on this one, but to start, this is a mirrorless camera, 4K, which is downgraded from 6K I think for stabilization and pixel blocking, and it *also* comes in at around $700 or $800 with a lens. I would be really curious how that stacks up against the camera you have here. I have to look into it more, but that may be my choice for my primary camera when I have money for that again.

As it is I just opened a credit card to buy a refurbished DJI Mini 3 Pro and and a DJI Osmo 6, which was not the most financially responsible move, but it should be amazing for making videos. But I'll definitely have to stop there and be happy with just those for a while, but that doesn't have to stop me from daydreaming about other cameras for now either!

Anyway, great review, and it's interesting to see how your editing has evolved slightly over the last two years.
