Interview Part 3
Have you collaborated with other Simmers in your creations? If so, who?
Yes, just once. It was for a short animated film, not a machinima. Mzrazberri, a talented The Sims 2 machinima artist, provided the vocals for the film I recently made. Sometimes I'm in touch with other machinima artists, too. I think we really need to thank the whole Simming community, all of the people who create mods and personalized content, etc.—without all of them, we wouldn't be anything.
Are you working on anything right now? Want to tease us and give us a hint about what it's about?
I've just finished my most recent machinima, "Repulsion," which I just posted online. It's a dark, tortured version of the Brothers Grimm's "Hansel and Gretel." I hope you and everyone who is passionate about the Sims likes it!
Synopsis:
The story takes place in the near future whereby the video game as evolved to a point where people are totally dependent. A Japanese cartoon was the inspiration for this story: ".Hack//sign", in which the hero finds himself blocked in a R.P.G. (Role Playing Game). In "Rebirth", I therefore used the game "The Sims 3" but also the game "The Sims 2", to demonstrate scenes which unfold in a virtual world.
