Clinical Research Risks, Climate Change, and Human Health.

Viewpoint discusses ways in which clinical research directly and indirectly contributes to anthropogenic climate change, highlights the need for increased scientific soundness and value in research, and calls for the development of tools for calculating the environmental impact of studies and a strategy for ensuring that research does not compromise the rights and welfare of nonparticipants and future generations.
