Your story makes me laugh. For those of you who aren’t from around SC - “Learn ‘im” or “learnt ‘im” = teach him/them or taught him/them. My mother-in-law (89 hrs old and still living by herself) always talks about how she “learnt” her kids to do something. She “learnt” her daughter Deb how to make biscuits. Hearing her talk, in what my kids refer to as “Southern”, makes me love her more and more. It’s become so endearing over the years. I think this part of why I find myself watching your videos for pure entertainment sometimes. There’s just nothing like a Sweet grandma from the south. 😘

Hi MEME. this is such a good recipe...especially as hot as it has been. Here is one for you its kind of the same basis.

2 cans pineapple chunks or tidbits drained.
1/2 cup raisins
8 oz sour cream
3/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
Mix well and refrigerate..

Of course, you can adjust these ingredients to your liking. Hope you like it

I made this for Christmas Dinner today last night late. I have watched the video several times and Diane said it needed to be made several hours before eating. I think she said things needed to get aquainated. So, it being Christmas i decided to make it at midnight last night for dinner today. Diane said you can't go wrong with this salad and how right she is. It is so delicious and I must say I was a bit skeptical about the Cheddar cheese in it, but by all means do not leave it out. Its easy to put together and so delicious.:)
