edit: i feel the need to address this as people have been bugging me for a while. There is another popular creator under the name polina kudryashka who has recently taken heavy inspiration off my art, I have received comments and even harassment due to this as people perceiving me as the "copier" I understand why some people would think this way as i have been inactive on YouTube so people see that my video is late and my style is so different from my last videos without keeping up with my social media and assume im copying them. I have tried to express my discomfort to her but I assume the language barrier wasnt in my favor. I have nothing against polina, i don't want this to be a callout, i simply want to defend myself, i wouldn't be bothering to say anything if it was just a young small creator. If you kept up with my artwork you could clearly see the dates and how I've been drawing this way long before them.. i dont want them to be harassed for this bc i know what that is like and it SUCKS but i cant stand seeing comments accusing me of copying them when that isnt true at all, its taken me years to develop my art style and i am still struggling to find myself, ive always been seen as unoriginal and it sucks alot becauae im older, ive grown so much in art and finding something im happy with, just to be labelled in such ways, its salt in the wound. so i hope you understand why this matters to me, im writing this on like no hours or sleep so sorry if this is like.. harsh ive been quiet about this for a while bc i genuinely hate the mob mentality surrounding art and the fact i even need to make this comment makes me upset because i really dont want people to harass her, ik shes just going through phases like everyone does and will eventually find her own thing. it genuinely makes me scared to speak up about anything for both her and mines sake
