The models being messed could have something to do with the bones of the model, you'll have to edit the bones to get the model to fully work.

I really wish Shadow was a full playable character. He has so much potential to have a unique move set. Sure, he may still borrow 1 or 2 moves from Sonic, but he has some powers that are different from Sonic like Chaos Control, Chaos Spear, and Chaos Blast.

Wow, I'm sure that if a way to turn off fighters' feet automatically trying to touch the floor is discovered, this will be even better!  I would love to play as Chrom or Blaziken in Smash!  I can't wait to see more.
